Direction

The exam will ask you to state the direction that one feature lies from another. The most important word to note is 'from'. The easiest mistake to make is to travel the wrong way between two places.

For example:

• What direction is the church from the town hall?

• Imagine that you are walking from the town hall to the church and not the other way around!

Remember that the top of the OS map is north.
